This is a part-time 9 month contract to cover maternity leave.  Working 22.5 hours per week every day or over 3 days

We are an international HR consultancy.  This an important and varied position based in our Guildford office providing administration and coordination support to the HR team.  Whilst the emphasis of the role will be helping with the management and administration of recruitment, on-boarding and training to help us appoint, promote and develop the best people, the successful candidate will also play a key role in providing general administrative support to the HR team.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Support our global recruitment activities (test administration, posting adverts, booking phone interviews and assessment centers, creating timetables, etc.)
  • Administration of new joiner and leaver process
  • Support internal training activities (diary management, logistics, formatting and proofreading training materials, preparing training materials, etc.)
  • General HR administration: filing of employee files, outstanding annual leave audit, administration of employees on our HR system, posting, printing, scanning, etc.

 

What you’re likely to have

  • Experience of working in a fast paced administrative role with customer contact
  • Enthusiastic, conscientious and proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Organised and able to prioritise with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) to a good standard
  • Strong telephone and written communication skills (much communication will be via email),
  • Comfortable with IT and learning to use new IT systems
